Let’s get right into it... 🤩

You want to feel more at peace in motherhood, but you have no idea how to do that? When I first started pursuing peaceful motherhood I felt SOOO lost and hopeless, but I discovered most of my battles came down to mindset. Like how do I escape the chaos? And I’m not just talking about the obvious outward chaos that comes with raising littles. I mean the inner chaos and struggle to feel at peace.

Some things I wish I knew then:
- you are what you THINK
- there IS hope
- you CAN change

With all this in mind, let’s talk about how you can get started shifting your mindset from “I have to” to “I get to” and calm that inner chaos.

Taking my kids to the park wasn’t always easy…

Taking my kids to the park wasn’t always easy… but mainly because I put a lot of pressure on myself to be my idea of a perfect parent.

The thing about that is- no one else was paying attention to those little things that I was stressing about, but my head would be racing with thoughts like…Do I have EVERYTHING we need? Are my kids going to behave? Is the weather going to cooperate? Could I maybe get some work done? I can’t look inattentive…what if they get hurt? What if something bad happens? What if they have an accident? Will I have to talk to other parents? What do I say? Do I look approachable? What if there’s no other kids to play with? Am I prepared to play with them too? 😅

And the list goes on…none of these are bad things to think about, but if you get stuck in this cycle of anxiety then you miss out on the joys of actually spending time with your kids.

So instead of looking for alllll the things to be worried 😖 about- try this instead:

Try looking for little joys! 🤩 Like the giggles when your child goes down the slide, or the new friend they’re making at the park, or the smile when you push them on the swing, or the memories that you’re literally creating with them. Are they going to remember a mom that’s happy to be with them? It’s a lot easier to BE happy when you look for the little moments to be grateful for!

This is why I wrote the I get to girl journal for moms! So that you can start being intentional in looking for those little moments to be grateful for and learn from the moments you’re not proud of. It’s only $7! And you can use it digitally OR print it out for endless days of gratitude growth. I get to girls look at life though the “I get to” lens and let go of the “I have to” mindset! It’s SO freeing to live this way! (I still need reminding but it’s powerful when I shift back to it!)

I got you, mama 🫶🏼

Feeling overwhelmed is almost always able to be changed my a mindset shift!

And no I’m not talking about another system to keep you organized (I know those can be great!)…

I’m talking about changing the way you THINK about your daily life 🤔

When I finally realized my mindset was the thing holding me back from joyful days, everything changed! I was finally able to stop dreading my daily mental load and start ENJOYING my kids and everything in between. Oh yea, and I kicked overwhelm to the curb too!

And you can bet I HAD TO share my secret with other mamas too! I started using “I get to” phrases instead of “I have to” phrases which completely changed the way I think about even the most simple tasks 🙌🏻
